Overview

The CS-T240 Plus is a fully automatic, discrete, random-access chemistry analyzer for small and medium laboratories. It runs 240 photometric tests per hour, rising to 480 with the ISE module for sodium, potassium and chloride, with STAT samples given priority. Colorimetric and turbidimetric methods cover end-point, kinetic and fixed-time assays across the full reagent menu: liver, kidney, cardiac, lipid, diabetes (including HbA1c), pancreatic, rheumatology, immune-protein and inorganic/anaemia panels.

Samples and reagents share up to 80 barcoded positions, and the probe has liquid-level detection and collision protection. The 56-cuvette reaction disk works with 100–360 µL volumes at 37 °C, which keeps reagent use low, and 12 wavelengths from 340 to 800 nm are read by a photodiode array. The on-board haemolysis function tests HbA1c on whole blood without centrifugation. Quality control follows Westgard rules with daily and monthly QC charts, results go to the LIS over RJ-45, and at 744 x 703 x 530 mm and 100 kg it fits on a standard bench.

Medix East Africa supplies the CS-T240 Plus Biochemistry Analyzer with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.

After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region. Pricing is issued by formal quotation, because it depends on configuration, quantity, delivery terms and warranty.
